The first thing I noticed about Wise Women Project participant Elizabeth Martinez were her extraordinary blue eyes. A beautiful woman, inside and out. Elizabeth is a cancer survivor and in her interview she told me, “I have become bolder. Kind of like I may be gone tomorrow; I am my own advocate. I also have a survivor mentality. I am lucky to be alive. I take nothing for granted and I do not hold any grudges.” You can read her entire interview here.
