I photographed Dana on a picture-perfect day on her Boulder farm. There was the inevitable chaos with dogs, horses and loose chickens, and all of that is what made our work together so special. The 2021 Wise Women Project features interviews and portraits of women over 50 with the goal of recognizing the many ways women contribute and provide inspiration to our community.
